The Second Appellate District hears appeals arising out of the following counties: San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles. (Cal. Govt. Code, § 69100, subd. (b).) Divisions 1-5, 7 and 8 handle appeals from Los Angeles County, and Divison 6 handles appeals from San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties.
