The First Appellate District is divided into five divisions. All divisions cover the following Northern California counties: San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Mateo shall constitute the First Appellate District. (Cal. Gov. Code, § 69100, subd. (a).)
